MERCED, CA – Today, Congressman Adam Gray announced receiving a slew of endorsements from local elected leaders across California’s Central Valley who credit his bipartisan record of delivering results for the Valley. The bipartisan, localized coalition that Gray has built across all five counties in CA-13 demonstrates a strong backing in the kick-off of his re-election campaign.

The following local leaders announced their support today for Gray’s re-election campaign:

  • Fresno County Supervisor Brian Pacheco

  • Ceres City Councilmember Jim Casey

  • Ceres City Councilmember Rosalinda Vierra

  • Lathrop Vice Mayor Jennifer Torres-O'Callaghan

  • Madera County Supervisor Leticia Gonzalez.

  • Madera City Councilmember Jose Rodriguez

  • Madera City Councilmember Steve Rodriguez

  • Mendota City Councilmember Jose Alonso

  • Merced County Supervisor Jim Pacheco

  • Merced County Supervisor Josh Pedrozo

  • Merced County Supervisor Scott Silveira

  • Merced County District Attorney Nicole Silveira

  • Merced City Councilmember Sarah Boyle

  • Merced City Councilmember Mike Harris

  • Merced City Councilmember Shane Smith

  • Modesto City Councilmember Nick Bavaro

  • Modesto City Councilmember Chris Ricci

  • Stanislaus County Supervisor Mani Grewal

These endorsements follow a broad show of support for Gray’s campaign from nine local mayors, including: Dos Palos Mayor Katy Reed, Firebaugh Mayor Freddy Valdez, Gustine Mayor Patrick Nagy, Lathrop Mayor Paul Akinjo, Los Banos Mayor Mike Amabile, Madera Mayor Cece Gallegos, Mendota Mayor Victor Martinez, Merced Mayor Matt Serrato, Modesto Mayor Sue Zwahlen, and Riverbank Mayor Rachel Hernandez.

“I’m proud of my record working with both parties on common sense solutions for Valley families on issues like health care, water access, and the cost of living. We need independent and authentic leadership representing the Central Valley — not party lapdogs. I’ll always keep the needs of the Valley as my number one focus,” said Gray.

“Adam Gray has always understood Madera County and the Valley because he’s one of us,” said Madera County Supervisor Leticia Gonzalez. “He knows the challenges our communities face, from water and agriculture to jobs and infrastructure, and he never loses sight of the people he represents. Adam shows up, listens, and works with local leaders to get things done. In Congress, he’s been a strong voice for Madera County and the Central Valley, and I’m proud to support his re-election.”

“It’s my honor to support Adam Gray for Congress,” said Merced County Supervisor Jim Pacheco. “Adam has always put our Valley first – fighting for working families, supporting our farmers, and standing up for common-sense solutions that move our communities forward. He understands the challenges we face because he’s lived them, and he has the experience and integrity to deliver real results. I’m proud to stand with Adam Gray and encourage others to join me in supporting his campaign.”

“As a Merced County Supervisor, I’ve seen firsthand how Representative Gray delivers for our community,” said Merced County Supervisor Josh Pedrozo. “He has consistently stood up for us on housing affordability, healthcare, water, and job creation. Representative Gray focuses on solutions, not the partisanship that too often defines Congress. We need more leaders like him, and I’m proud to support Rep. Gray on his reelection.”

“Adam’s positive impact on Merced cannot be overstated,” said Merced City Councilmember Shane Smith. “I am proud to have him as our Congressman and support his campaign for re-election.”

“Adam Gray has worked tirelessly to improve the lives of all people in the Central Valley,” said Merced City Councilmember Mike Harris. “He's done this by working in a bipartisan manner which is rare today and is, I believe, the reason for his success. I fully support his return to Congress this fall.”

“As someone who cares deeply about the future of Merced and the Central Valley, I know how important it is to have leaders who show up, listen and deliver,” said Merced City Councilmember Sarah Boyle. “Adam Gray has proven he is that leader.”

“Adam Gray is focused on the Valley, not politics,” said Modesto City Councilmember Chris Ricci. “The results speak for themselves.”

“Congressman Adam Gray is an effective congressman who serves the needs of his congressional district,” said Modesto City Councilmember Nick Bavaro. “Congressman Gray secured federal grants for the City of Modesto’s police Departments $1,031,000 enhanced radio system and $850,000 for fire department rehabilitation of fire station 1.”

“I’m proud to support Adam Gray,” said Mendota City Councilmember Jose Alonso. “He understands the needs of our communities and has consistently fought to deliver real results. His leadership, work ethic, and commitment to working families make him the right choice.”
